We went to the mall last night and after a little while I started to hurt. At one point I thought I was bleeding. I wore my bootie and after a while the wood really got to me.
Took a shower. My first! The toe feels so WEIRD. Its pretty alien really. Its just not where I expect to stand on it so the nerves are going to have to get used to everything. I even washed it. Its not pretty but hey, its still swollen. No more scabs (they must have oozed off under the band-aid from the doctor).
I had the worst time finding joint band-aids and ended up with a box of 10 I can use and 10 I can't. Oh well. Started the mederma and used neosporin hoping that it will start looking more presentable soon!
Today it was really swollen and a sneaker isn't going to cut it. I'm walking around without shoes at work to exercise the toe since that doesn't hurt.
